Adolph's Food Service began in 1985 as the exclusive caterer (and we still are!) to the City of Lakewood and we like to call our headquarters in The Centre at Sycamore Plaza home. Our Founder and President is Taeko Tsujimura.

Chef Taeko came to the United States in 1957 not knowing that some years later she would be spearheading her own catering company, as well as, living the American Dream of "owning your own business." Her first years in the States were spent raising a family, and, then, wanting more she began her culinary studies with various European chefs. Eventually she began cooking for DiPiazza's in Belmont Shores, and, from there, she became the Executive Chef for the Long Beach Hilton's Adolph's Restaurant and successfully opened two restaurants for Jay Feinberg of the Hilton: Mother Noodles in Long Beach and The Palms on Catalina Island. After that, she was ready to venture out on her own; hence, the birth of Adolph's Food Service.

Since then, Adolph's has become a steady fixture in the community of Lakewood and surrounding cities. It has established itself amongst the catering community as well, being known for its unique culinary style (Chef Taeko personally developed all recipes used!) and unsurpassed professional service. Adolph's takes pride in providing service that is unparalleled and will give 110% to create a positive experience.
